Owner/chef Samia Ahad has made it her mission to bring greater awareness to the wealth of local and regional cuisines available in Singapore. At Coriander Leaf bistro, this is done by melding Middle Eastern and Oriental ingredients with Southeast Asian cooking techniques. The result: mouth-watering dishes like crab cakes served with homemade tomato chutney, chilli-mango smoked duck salad with pomelo and lemongrass dressing, and za’atar encrusted spiced lamb rack. Cooking classes are also available for those who want to recreate the experience at home.
