Designed by John Morford and Co., the interior is contemporary with clean lines, reflecting the simplicity and serenity of Japanese culture. There is a large sushi counter with an open elevated kitchen in the centre of the dining area. The interior design employs wood, stone and clay with soft lighting to create a cosy and sophisticated atmosphere. The menu is classic featuring sushi and sashimi as specialities with emphasis on freshness and quality ingredients. Kaetsu also features an extensive sake menu with some exclusive choices in town.
